About
Becky Cameron is an author and illustrator from sunny Sheffield in the UK. She graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a BA in Graphic Design and Illustration before completing an MA in Children’s Book Illustration at the prestigious Cambridge School of Art.
Becky has illustrated much loved classics such as Enid Blyton stories and Paddington and her debut author-illustrated picturebook 'Wishing for a Dragon' was published by Hodder Children's in 2018. She has worked on books by Lucy Rowland and Lara Williamson.
When she’s not making books Becky teaches Illustration as an Associate Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University. She enjoys exploring the Peak District with her young family, knitting, sewing and a good cheese board,
She dislikes pigeons, slugs in the kitchen and getting wet socks.
She is represented by the wonderful Claire at Holroyde Cartey.
